Real estate is what we do — but community is who we are.
Recently, our team had the privilege of donating our time at the Veterans Food Bank here in Calgary. We spent the day sorting food, organizing supplies, and helping prepare essential items for veterans and their families. It was meaningful, hands-on work — and a reminder that local support matters.
Our involvement doesn’t stop at volunteering.
Over the years, we’ve also contributed financially to the Veterans Food Bank, supporting their ongoing operations. Most recently, we were honoured to help secure a property on their behalf — strengthening their ability to serve Calgary’s veteran community long-term.
This isn’t about a one-time gesture. It’s about showing up consistently.
The Reality Many Don’t See
Many people don’t realize that over 80% of donations arrive between October and December. The holiday season brings generosity — and it’s deeply appreciated.
But the need doesn’t disappear in January.
From January through September, donations are significantly leaner, while demand remains steady. Veterans need support year-round. There are 12 months in the year, and giving should happen 365 days a year.
Calgary Isn’t Just Where We Work — It’s Home
I don’t just sell real estate in Calgary — I call this city home. I was born and raised here, built my career here, and I’m raising my family here. With that comes a responsibility to give back.
Organizations like the Veterans Food Bank quietly fill critical gaps, ensuring veterans are supported with dignity. Their work is essential — and ongoing support matters.
Why Giving Back Locally Matters
Local giving creates local impact.
When we invest time, resources, and expertise into Calgary-based organizations, we strengthen the community we all share. Supporting the Veterans Food Bank aligns with how we do business: service first, people always.
Moving Forward Together
We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and encourage others to support the Veterans Food Bank whenever they can.
Because building a strong city isn’t just about homes.
It’s about people — every day of the year.
